The “walking” mascots are the product of a development as long as that of our company. In fact the first product made by the àrea cúbica sewing machines was a “walker”. Although they had already been developed by other companies before the creation of àrea cúbica, it can be said that we are probably the Spanish inflatable company to have produced the most units and that has taken most advantage out of its real potential.

It is common that clubs, brands and institutions support their client or customer relations with some kind of character who serves as a mascot. With this in mind we create these walkers who are specially designed to interact with the public. An actor dresses in the inflatable costume of the character and interacts with people according to the publicity or promotion company guidelines.

It’s very simple: the actor wears a harness or belt that connects to the motor which is incorporated into the costume using a fast inlet plug. Once inside the costume it is inflated by the actor and he/she may begin entertaining. To avoid the show stopping once the battery dies, two batteries are provided with a charger, so that one can be used after the other without interruptions. The actor looks to the front through a netting that is camouflaged on the outside by the character decoration, who can walk with ease, wave arms, shake hands, hug and give out publicity normally.
