This is a product that differs entirely from all of the other products in the  àrea cúbica catalogue as regards work method. It is a type of display for which the most important phase is the project phase. In contrast to the rest of the very standardised manufacture processes, the tensile tents are notably different. To begin with, almost all of them have a predefined location which significantly influences the development of the project. In the tensiles with a defined location, the resistances and behaviour of the materials should be known in detail, as it very probable that they are directly or indirectly influenced by the tent or shade sail.

The structural behaviour is also notably different: in the tensile tents all of the elements that make up the structure are under load at the moment of their installation, as to take the correct shape, it is normally necessary to tense the canvas.

The composition of the materials is much more varied than that of the inflatables as they use steel, wooden or aluminium structures, which are tensed by cables or cords and are anchored to cement.
In these cases the most complex part is in the attachments and in studying the assembly process, and what normally works out much easier than in the inflatables is the pattern designing of the canvas.
